HISTORY:
OFUESI was formed in 1999 with the goal to establish a supporting base in the USA for the ongoing ministry of Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI). The membership to this organization is voluntary and consists of those who have been blessed by the ministry of UESI as well as those who have a heart for the students of India.
VISION & AIMS:
Fellowship: Foster Christian fellowship among the members and thus encourage one another.
Participation: Provide opportunities for members to involve in the ministry of UESI through their participation, prayer and resources.
Evangelism: Present the claims of Jesus Christ to students on local campuses so that they may know Him as their personal Savior and grow spiritually.
Testimony: Raise a testimony to the truths of the historic Christian faith expressed in the doctrinal basis of OFUESI and fulfill the calling to be salt and light in the world.
Christian Homes: Help members establish Christian homes and thereby minister to the needs of the Church and society.
Missions: Present God's missionary command to help members discover and obey His will for them in world evangelization.
